It seems that traditionally, stores sell lots of televisions and snacks at Super Bowl time. Who thought? !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! this year to combat fraud. So stores are selling less of snacks and televisions.

It also sucks because it seems every business sends their W-2s at the last possible second these days.

If you get a large refund from the IRS your withholding is too high. This is not free money from the government it is money taken out of your paycheck.

You are absolutely correct. We’re hoping for a large refund this year.

Cheese is good. At last check I had 14 different varieties in the fridge, plus a tray of assorted end pieces (which probably adds at least 8 more varieties). Nothing processed, especially that weird stuff here in STL known as Provel ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Provel_cheese ).

None of my favorite, Mimolette, however. It can be hard to find, and some people freaked out and temporarily banned it when they found out that mites that eat the rind are key to making this wonderful stuff.

Do you trim off the rind when you eat it? Is it very expensive? Have you ever heard of the Cheese Nun? Are you a Wallace and Grommit fan?

I just cut it close to the rind, but I don’t eat the rind. It’s a little firmer and nuttier out towards the edge, and I tend to like that. It’s not cheap, I think about $15/lb; I usually just get a small wedge and savor it.

Never heard of the cheese nun. I guess I’ll have to look into that. Haven’t watched any Wallace and Grommit, but I tend to like British humour, so I’d probably appreciate it.
